From Josh, their manager, to Mark, the owner, they were an absolute pleasure to work with. Not only did they assist in getting the job fully approved by our insurance company, which had originally denied our claim, they most importantly did a fantastic job on replacing our roof in a very timely and professional manner. Happily, we have received innumerable favorable comments from our neighbors as to the final appearance of our new tile roof as well as to the work ethic, cleanliness, and organization of their employees. Massey is a very professional, reliable, and responsible company. From our first meeting with Mark we knew we had chosen the right company. Kudos to Marissa in the office for keeping us informed, Jessica in accounting for making everything easy, Brad for organizing a smooth operation, John for his onsite work, and Warren for superior follow-up. We were impressed with the safety bars that were installed for taking the old roof off. I have not seen any other roofer take that safety step. We also liked liked the fact that one of the crew went around the driveway a couple of times every evening with a large magnet to pick up nails, screws, etc. Massey's crews cleaned up every evening so there was never a mess. Massey Roofing Services is a top notch company. Jonathan and the entire crew came to our rescue post-hurricane damage. They were professional, treated us fairly, and always provided solutions even when a separate (non-roofing) issue came up. We highly recommend this company especially in these times when it can be challenging finding a a good contractor. They are much more than good. They are excellent, customer-focused, and very responsive. Jon is such a delight to know and very dependable. We rarely write online reviews but this company certainly merits it - we have to encourage companies that practice old-style professionalism and delivery of top notch service. From start to finish the Massey Group help us through the entire process of working with our insurance company; tile selection – we got a beautiful clay roof; and gutter installation. After Hurricane Ian, we had to get a new roof. We called and got several estimates for our roof. Julio Gonzalez of Massey Construction came to our home and inspected our roof. He took the time to explain how the process would work and what we needed to do . He is very professional, prompt, and honest. He also has a wonderful personality and smile. He kept us informed of the progress and timing of the repairs. They have been a great company to work with. Everyone from the crew that did the tear off to the crew that put the new shingles on were very kind and professional people. They left the yard and our home looking beautiful! All we can say is honest, prompt and professional. Go local and call Massey, don't speak to the storm chasers. Days after the storm we were busy helping neighbors and addressing our local businesses needs first, so we had not yet been up to personally inspect the roof. We had no visible leaks but our solar panel was in our driveway and heard banging throughout the whole storm. A neighbor had a non-local roofer on my roof and stated I had numerous cracked tiles and have a claim. Another stated I needed work done (neighbor was pushy and so I let them see). Finally, my husband got the time and called Massey knowing that we would go that route either way. He came out, inspected and told us we had no roof damage, just solar damage. Thank you Mark, it just shows you the opportunist that exist when a disaster strikes. ~ Sarah V

We were selling our home and were surprised by an inspection report that indicated roof damage we didn't know about, all of this during the holidays. We needed an impartial, professional report on the situation quickly and, within 1 day of the request and during the holiday break, highly experienced roofing expert John Zumaeta gave us a thorough report of findings and enabled us to make an intelligent and fair counter offer and then complete the inspection phase of the sale. John was thoughtful, honest, diligent and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him and Michael who took our initial call on his day off and coordinated the consultation. After being hit by Hurricane Michael, I was in a situation where someone was illegally using Massey Construction Group's name, insurance, and license information for their personal gain. Once I found out what was going on, with the help of Mark Massey and a subsequent investigation, we had the individual arrested and my money (thankfully) returned. Mark Massey then worked directly with me to ensure my home was repaired to look as nice as it did before the storm. I could have been in a much worse situation, but thanks to him and I working together, everything worked out wonderfully. Unfortunately, the other individual had used Mark's name in a very high number of illegal contracts and so I am putting it out there that the ACTUAL company does amazing work with amazing response time and communication. ~ Joshua N

No other roof companies have done this in our gated community as of yet, a week after the storm. His crew is always professional, efficient and willing to do whatever is asked of them. Massey did a great job on my roof when Hurricane Ian caused damage. They were with me every step of the way. Their estimate was thorough. They worked with me to get the insurance company to appraise the damage and when the insurer didn’t live up to their policy, they referred me to an attorney that could represent my interests. When it was time to install the new roof, their staff made sure I knew what was going on during each step of the process and quickly responded to any questions and concerns that I had. I found it was easy to work with them whether I was in Florida or up north. I have recommended them to several of my neighbors and have had similar experiences. Great job Massey! ~ Steve R

Massey roofing was recommended by a neighbor and satisfied customer. What impressed me most about the Massey Team is that from the beginning they took ownership of the entire project and managed every detail--from the initial inspection to photo documentation of roof damage to filing the claim and the most tedious part--negotiating the settlement with the insurance company's lawyers. Once a settlement was reached the roofing crew swung into action ordering materials, filing permits and ultimately installing my new roof in less than a week. Massey Construction put a new roof on my house due to damage as a result of Hurricane Ian. Warren Grewal, the representative, was personable, very professional and thorough. Prior to the roof replacement, Massey fixed the leaks so the would be no additional damage. Work included replacement of a clay tile roof, replacement of gutters and soffits. The project manager was always responsive and returned my calls within minutes every time I called. Both Warren and his team did a very good job and completed the work on time and with high quality work. Construction is always difficult after a natural disaster. Massey Construction Group went above and beyond to replace a roof in time for a closing on my house. I received a 12-day closing cash offer on my home that coincided with a post-Irma insurance claim that was approved the same day for a full roof replacement. Massey bent over backwards to replace the entire shingle roof with gutters, and even hired a structural engineer, a cost which they covered, so that my closing could happen on time! We met with Mike Ralph, Sales, who assessed the damage and gave us a fair estimate and explained the claim process. We're so thankful we chose Massey! We are extremely impressed with Mark Massey and Massey Construction. I was impressed with Mark from our first "interview" meeting, and his preliminary assessment of our hurricane claim. He was here when the insurance inspector looked over the roof, and I believe that was a big reason our claim was approved in full from the get go. Our new roof looks great, and the work spanned a mere 7 days to completely tear off the old, hurricane-damaged roof, and replace it with the new roof. No pallets of tile sitting around for weeks at a time -- the tile was delivered, and put up for installation the same day. We have recommended Mark and his team to a significant number of neighbors, many of whom did not realize how damaged their roofs were. Over the course of 40+ years of renovating homes, I've rarely encountered a business that stands behind its promises as strongly as Mark and his team do. ~ Robert L

This is a great company. I had a roof leak and needed some broken tiles replaced. Julio, came out and did an evaluation/inspection. Within a 1/2 hour he knew exactly what was needed. He inspected my entire roof and did not TRY TO FIND unnecessary repairs. He was very honest and straight to the point. The next morning I had an estimate. I was very satisfied with the estimate and signed right away. The next morning Julio and Tom arrived to begin the work. Tom was a very efficient and informative worker. At the end of the day my roof was complete. I could not believe how quickly my situation was resolved. From beginning to end. 3 days maybe. And just in time as it started raining later that week. I think they knew this and took into consideration. I greatly appreciate their work and dedication to get it done. Great company. Ask to speak to Julio and have Tom do the work. I am very pleased. We brought in Massey construction to replace our roof after hurricane Ian. Their Sales & Operations Manager, Mr Warren Grewal came out to inspect the extent of our damage. we assigned the job to Massey because of Mr Grewal. You simply felt that Massey had you covered. As things turned out we experienced a major health crisis. Upon explaining our situation and seeing if there was a way to get the job done faster Mr Grewal immediately took control switched us to a standard roofing contract. Within a few weeks the roof was up. Massey and Mr. Grewal exceeded our expectations. If you are looking for quality workmanship, fair pricing and a company that puts their clients needs first them Massey Construction will go the extra mile for you. I will always recommend Massey. Massey removed old roof and installed new roof. I want to give a shout out to Heather Powell. I was so stressed out needing a new roof. She always emailed me back and let me know what was going on. When our permit was approved I think she was excited as we were. The whold process was very professional. After first day I met Warren he came taking pictures of roof removal. The next day I met Rusty and he was on it. For some reason the guys didn't all have their safety gear on. He sent them all home. The next day they all had it on. I would recommend Massey with a 9.5.
